This rest stop near Lake George has nice grassy areas, clean toilets, and picnic tables. It is relatively quiet, but visitors should be aware of the presence of snakes. The lookout offers sweeping views of the surrounding areas, including Lake George and wind turbine farms. The rest area below the lookout has better amenities. The area is suitable for children and pet-friendly. While there are not many facilities, the area provides a good place for a rest stop between Sydney and Canberra.
